![]() Shame the Wii U doesn't have sysmodules like the Switch. So if your gamepad is dead and you don't have Wiimotes you need to find the charger and plug it in first in order to launch this. I guess the only caveat with this is, you still need a Wii U Gamepad or a Wiimote in order to launch it. Has been a while since I last played the Wii U now though. It wasn't a problem when I was using the Wii U on a regular basis but nowadays it's always dead when I want to use it since it self discharges within weeks. Also, the gamepad battery self discharges very quickly, it's a hassle to charge it up ahead of time when you want to play. Still, you can only connect one of them so if you want to play multiplayer you need other controllers. I'm one of the few people that actually like the Wii U Gamepad. Especially for multiplayer games, since who owns multiple Wii U Pro Controllers, right? That would be a bad purchase decision Makes the Wii U a lot more usable without spending money on extra controllers. It's more useful for those that don't own a Switch but own a PS5 or Xbox One. I've played pretty much everything on the Wii U I wanted to play though, and there are Switch versions of the couple I haven't finished. I never bought a Wii U Pro Controller so it's nice to know if I ever play the Wii U again I can use my Switch Pro Controller ![]() If you want to support me, you can buy me a coffee! Once paired and connected it will convert received HID reports to the Pro Controller HID report format, which padscore expects. It will make sure any bluetooth peripheral can be paired to the console.
